Why dont you write to your COngressman or Senator?
If possible go and meet them They will help you. or even better have your employer also write to them expalining the circumstances.

1) Wrote Congressman (Informed that I should get adjucation by 60-120days)
2) Wrote Senator,(Informed that I should get adjucation by 60-90days)
3) Wrote Ombudsman.,(Informed that I should get adjucation by 60-90days)
4) Called USCIS and raised thre SR so far.
5) Talked to IO atelast once a week since last one month. (Asked to wait for weeks everytime)
6) Had infopass past week : confirm teh case assigned to IO on Oct.17th
My background check is clear VISa is available PD ius current...Everything is ready to go....Except that sleeping IO should wait up and cleare his desk.:mad:
ONLY think now I need to do is track the IO and identify and contact him and wake him up and ask to do the needful.:D

Has anybody tried booking an emergency apointment? I was checking that some time back when I wanted to go urgently and it says that it is for people wanting to visit US for urgent family matters and not for people who are currently in the US and visiting home country. Anybody has tried this (going from US to get visa stamped in India in an urgent situation?).

I had filed for my 6th year h1b extension without the lawyer , I did so bec the paper work was similar to my last extension ,and i saw that lots of people on the IV forum had Filed the H1b extension themselves.
Anyways, my human resource personal hired a new secretory and she some how misplaced my H1b receipt/possible RFE? , I have the EAC # from my cancel check ; when i check my status online it says case received and pending my PD is Jan08 ,2007 and the CSC is processing Jan. 13th, my question is if a RFE is issued will that be posted on the online case status website? I have asked the HR to request a duplicate copy from INS , should i also ask them to contact USCIS over the phone in addition to the written request?

One more thing before you draft a letter take a look at the job description/qualification/experience required which is filed along with the
labor certificate.
if possible get those "experience required " in the experience letter from
prvious employer to show that you had those experiences before you joined.

i think u need not get a new h1 stamp and can sill come in and out on AP without compromising yr h1 status.

This happend in my motherinlaw's name case.If u have already filed i-485,then wait for RFE.If u have not did it.It is easy and 1day procedure in india,if ur parents can do it.Ur parents can get a combined affidavit typed on 10 or 20rs stamp paper and get it notarised with lawyer and scan and email u before they post it to u here.We did the samething and could file on time.

my advice (from my experience)..if u do USPS Priority (India postal employee deliver it for sure), and chances r high that u may receive it in OPENED, MISSING, LOST (part of docs) state (we had this multiple times from different locations)
Strongly suggest NOT to use Priority unless u have had firsthand good experience!
Using USPS express was little different, fast, and prompt (guess they use some special delivery layer) :mad:

Sounds like you found the "sensor", really a filter or glass over the sensor. When you remove the lens, you see the mirror. Put the camera in bulb mode and lock the shutter open, and that's the "sensor". Ensure that you have plenty of battery power (or are hooked up to the AC/DC adapter) before you stick anything into the sensor cavity. If the shutter closes while you have something in the cavity, the shutter will break, and you will need an expensive repair.
I have to clean my cameras often, since I shoot outdoors and change lenses many times a day. I have found that compressed air takes care of most problems, and a $10 bulb, like Mark mentioned, is the best way to go for field work. If you are willing to put a little more $$ into it, get an oil-less diaphragm compressor for an airbrush, ~$100. The other nice thing about air is that you don't put anything in the shutter cavity.
DO NOT use "canned air", these little cans with compressed air in them. They contain isobutane and other hydrocarbon propellants which can "spit" out of the can and leave spots on the sensor that will require a liquid cleaning to remove.
Liquid cleaning is more complicated. The Eclipse solution is (I have heard, I don't use it...) clean methanol. A lot of people use these with 'pec' pads with success. I use clean, high grade isopropanol, electronics swabs, and follow up with distilled DI water and the air compressor. This is a delicate process that I don't recommend experimenting with. If you want to learn how to do this, find someone who is willing to tech you using his camera. ;) Mark probably gets his money's worth from the camera shop. The only issue is finding a good shop.

No I am not a research fellow. Just Telecomm Engineer who has Master's Degree from US. I just interpreted Research Item in 221G Green Document as my Thesis work and explained it in the research statement along with the other documents.

Hi,
I have my AP approved and H1B approved until 2010 but have an expired H1B Visa and I plan to extend my H1B visa some time next year.
I am planning on some business trips and would like to re-enter US multiple times using my Advance parole. Any issues with this?
Once I re enter using AP, can I go back to India and apply for H1B visa extension based on the approved H1B.
Appreciate your responses on this.

The USCIS looks at the EAD eligibility option. And that option is there as I-485 applicant. (also this is a must field on the EAD application online where as the visa status is not)
But on the current visa status there is no option saying that you are an adjustee and so the CS person (She was not sure) said that visa status considered is the last applied visa status. So if you were on H1B its better to put H1B. I also saw this on a website somewhere.

My green card petition was applied under "Computer and Information Systems Manager" job title. Recently, I get a full-time job offer from another employer with a much lesser salary but, considering the current job market and economy, I've no other option but to accept it. There's one little kink in this new situation: the title for the job I've applied for labor does not match with the one I'm offered (Software Engineer)
These are my questions:
1. Do I really need to apply AC21 now?
2. If I apply AC21 with Software Engineer title what could be the consequence
3. What if I try to get a letter from my new employer with job title as Computer and Information Systems Manager or some similar title. Do you think it'll work?
If anyone has better idea, please advise me. I'd really appreciate all your help.
